Image by Getty Images via DaylifeMy post on Postman Pat generated over 200 hits.  Perhaps it is time to develop a country person called Yomp and develop a character and friends who will start to help the urbanites to understand more about the joys of the country.

Today I was walking on the foothills of Fairfield when I met two groups of Air Force Cadets on a Duke of Edinburgh walk.  From Fife in Scotland they were so polite and charming to an old man struggling up the hills so different from the reception and grunt you get from the urbanites.

Later in the afternoon I met two of their leaders looking for the group and I was pleased to tell them that their wonderful young lads would already have reached Rydal Hall and have pitched their tents.  It looks like they will be lucky with the weather and enjoy a walk in the sun today.

So now I need to start thinking of a business plan to develop for Yomp and get into building a brand.
