At CRUFC to watch a fantastic match between Eastern Counties Under 17 v Yorkshire Under 17s which Counties won. All the best of school-boy rugby with lots of running and open play and the frustrating school-boy errors. Great game before the snow arrives.
Watching were two brothers supporting Counties and who have a fantastic life-style business processing pork. It is called A1 Bacon – specialists in pre-packed bacon. Over twenty years or more they now have four sites in the Harlow area and deliver all over the UK. It is a great business but why have a first page on the website on which you have to click “Enter?
They mentioned another very successful life-style company – was it JJ Foods Service? Certainly they have a very impressive website with plenty of “calls for action” but empty pages on company information. “JJ Food Service are offering a further discount of 10% to any customer which orders and pays for their goods online with a credit or debit card starting 1st of February 2009” so they are keen to build market share in these challenging times.
Two great companies and two very different websites.
