Linda Rathbone (CFO), Bob Rathbone (CEO) and Barry Dupee started Qualitetch in 1990 and have grown steadily. From their website, it is not immediately clear what they do but I found these words in the small print “Our chemical etching services and wire erosion process offer a host of advantages over other component manufacturing processes, being extremely accurate with stress free manufacture in a variety of metals for an ever expanding range of industries.”
Looks like a great example of a “life-style” business, well run and well managed with a sales growth last year of 15pc. Not one for the angels or VCs but an essential member of the Cambridge Cluster.
