Tickets from Edwalton Station

The exit/entrance of Marylebone station in Oct...Image via WikipediaWhen you have had a life changing event such as selling your business, what are you going to do?  How about collecting stamps or railwayana.  A friend of mine has not sold his business but collected railwayana when he was young and is now thinning out his collection.  The railway tickets which cost us pennies all those years ago, when we travelled by steam train, are now worth real money.  And no more than a ticket from Edwalton Station which closed around 1947.  Ticket to Edwalton Station are common place but not many people started their journey from the station.

David Jones has a built a Passive Equity Company, Great Central Railwaya Auctions, to cater for the collectors who are interested (obsessed?) by the Great Central line which ran from London to Manchester. He runs an auction four times a year so start collecting!

Another entrepreneur I know who has just sold out is sharing his time between jetting off round the world and making jewellery.  Will he make a ring for my daughter’s marriage?

So when you sell out, think of Edwalton Station and your journey!
