Image via WikipediaThe fuzzy little dots in the ultra-scan of the gallbladder were a “shower” (if that is the correct collective noun) of stones and the scan also showed a damaged sack so it has to go. Apparently they are caused by crystals forming in a super-saturated solution of bile which is the kept in the gallbladder and released when we eat food.
I need to stay in the UK and have the contact details of a doctor in case it flares up again – I am told it that the pain is the closest a male gets to the joys of child-birth! Hopefully key-hole surgery will have me back on the good things of life like barbecued marinated belly-pork and alcohol.
Why has Zemanta come up with pictures of banks? Maybe it is time they were taken out? I think that the gallbladder is number 5 in the illustration.
