Whilst going for a walk under the beautiful blue sky (for a change), I met a pigeon shooter.  He told me that when he and his son arrived at the field there must have been 3,000 pigeons enjoying a snack.  A few shots later and twelve were ready for the pot but the others had gone to feed peacefully in another farm.  So, the pigeon shooter and his son were going to wait all day until the pigeons returned.  Would the pigeon shooter do well as an entrepreneur, I thought as I ambled along?  He had ineffective technology and waited for his “customers” to return.  Companies need the best technology for the job and to go out and find customers.  But the benefit seemed to be that of a life-style company – plenty of time for father and son to bond!
